Multimedia

Under the ‘News’ category, against some small market media outlets you probably haven’t heard of… CNN, BBC, NY Times, Wired.

Here’s the link.

Kasey-Dee Gardner and I have been writing blogs from Alaska the whole week we were out there. The blog’s called ‘I’m Where!?!” and also features some notes from editor Sarah Goforth, who’s in Israel. Check it out it here!

Pretty nice, no? Video on the front with the 5 latest clips, reporter blogs, an iTunes-like scroller. Good times.

Friday News Feedbag

So I work on some podcasts, well, namely the Discovery News Friday News Feedbag, where Will Johnson, James Williams and myself bring you the best of week’s strange science, bold breakthroughs and off-the-wall discoveries. Or something like that. The other podcast is just another way to download some of the videos we do for Discovery News.

Anyway, copy these links into your podcast player:

Explanation: This is a multimedia presentation I worked on right at the Arizona Daily Star before the release of Revenge of the Sith. None of the back-end programming was done by me, but I assisted on the design and concept, as well as on the content. It’s really well-designed and slick (thanks to Kerry Dinsmore), as well as pretty goofy, but there are some, um, gems in there (hint: look under videos).
